ФОРМА

Cxema+PAN

Cxema is a series of parties, which was founded by Slava Lepsheev in 2014 in Kyiv. Appeared as the reaction to the prevailing absence of music events after the 2014 Ukrainian revolution, it rapidly transformed from small DIY events into large-scale raves. Bringing together different audiences and primarily youth, Cxema became a symbol of nightlife and freedom in Kyiv. The parties were held in various post-industrial locations, with no decorations and minimalistic style on the whole as a representative feature of its identity.

ФОРМА was involved in the organization of Cxema parties from 2015 to 2019, rethinking from the perspective of architectural practice the typology of rave and creating a holistic visual image of the space. Every season had a specific concept that directly influenced spatial and lighting solutions.
